Elisa Maselli I am committed to having our clients and our staff get as much satisfaction, growth, learning and joy from their work as I do. Biography As VP of Communications, Elisa enjoys the opportunity to perceive and understand both client and corporate realities and to express them in meaningful ways. Elisa enjoys the fact that her work at GLG is different every day - every client situation, every client result, every individual and team accomplishment reflects the broad diversity of the business engine that keeps the world running. After attending Smith College (BA with honors) and receiving her MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University, she joined GLG in 1991 following a career in retail buying with Marshall Field, Target Stores and Toys 'R Us. Elisa works with clients to design communications plans for major initiatives such as acquisitions and new strategies. She is also responsible for all written communication at GLG and has been responsible for systematizing internal procedures for client support, training new staff and consultants, and writing proposals that capture clients’ ideas and language in a way that speaks to their needs. She values integrity and service in her contributions to GLG consultants and clients. She particularly enjoys the variety in her work and the fact that people who work with GLG “get as much satisfaction from their work as I do.” An avid reader who enjoys travel and learning about other cultures, Elisa has also been a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Lancaster, England, researching a topic in Organizational Epistemology, or more simply said, “How do we all know what we know?” |
